new move, new music, Sridhar returns, more BOAP

After a rather grueling and frantic move, we are slowly settling into the new digs here in Albuquerque. ..Im finally getting around to practicing again, though its a bit sporadic. Jefferson and i havent really teamed up in a while, but we'll get underway soon.

The move also took time away form mixing the June shows, but Ive resumed that and should have material done in a week or so. Im anxious to get it circulating locally, as we're feeling the itch to play.

The hiatus needs to be over! In the words of Hannibal Lecter, " I feel the need to come out of retirement and return to public life".

Some other possibilities present themselves - I am making some headway for contacts to develop the band, so that should be underway in the fall, and maybe ready to gig by the holiday season??? who knows.

Sometime in October, I will do a final definitive mix for BOAP, which is now making its way to another round of festival submissions. It also now has a listing on IMDb, (as does the music director's own blurbage).

Sridhar returns to Bodythis weekend, Saturday night Sept 22. Make sure to not miss it!! Hope to make some lesson time with him, which is always intense and transforming.
