Travel Bug today

Just a quick reminder, we'll be at the Travel Bug again today, 5 pm ish. We should be well rested and ready, with all three instruments in tow.

Do come, and bring a buddy...

sama' page up

With the Sama' projects being the most prominent at this stage, ive posted material for the duo and trio on the dedicated Sama' page - I have audio samples there too now.

Travel Bug gig continues for March

I spoke with Robbie today, and we've extended for March! so, put 11th and 25 th down and join Jeffersonand I at the Travel Bug.

I've been bringing the fretless electric as well; last week we did a rousing little raga/funk number: Sri James Brown...

filling in some blanks

There has been some behind the scenes work in filling out the site, primarily with audio samples. I'm taking a fresh look at what Ive had up previously, made some minor changes/additions, and I also intend to fill some gaps. LUTS, for example, has never been particularly well documented or made available, (despite some demos that got nice reviews) so I intend to remedy that with LUTS material up in about a probably within a month or so. All the material that was active and available on the old site should be back in place in a day or so.

(Interesting side note about LUTS; the fretless guitar seems to lend itself to that material, with a fresh udpate/tweak on it. I may do some reincarnation of that group this year...)

Im also investing the time to re encode everything at a higher quality rate and Im going strictly mp3 this time, with both 'pseudo stream' delivery (m3u files) and the actual mp3s themselves if you want to wait for full downloads. If you opt for the latter, I highly reccommend going the podcast route, as some of the pieces are quite long and may take a bit of time.

As always, leave a comment if theres a problem, once the links are up in a day or so - or leave a thought about what you hear as well!
